Black & White : Remember Ilford HPS Plus Black and White Film? I developed these in the darkroom in 2003 with old fashioned dodging, burning and hanging to dry. I remember locking myself in a dark room and carefully removing and rerolling the film from the cannister trying not to scratch the film, which I did often. Now in digital dark room you can add scratches for effect. How about that! These pictures taken with my Yashica FR1 and my Canon Rebel 2000. I don't shoot film anymore but the days in the darkroom were priceless and have helped me tremendously in the digital darkroom. Enjoy!

Williamson County : These are photos from my Saturday morning 03/29/09 drive through Williamson County. After a big rain the evening before just a few drizzles left and lots of overcast. The route I took was Wilson Pike to North Chaple to 96 down to Carnton Plantation and on into Franklin with a quick stop in Merridees for a cup of coffee and then back home. It was beautiful.

Arizona : Gene and I took a wonderful and memorable trip out west. We went to Sedona and Phoenix Arizona and to see the Grand Canyon all for the first time. The beautiful red rock country in Sedona was my favorite. As someone who studies light this was a wonderful adventure for the senses. God is, of course, the Master of Creation and quite the artist. I watched the light dance from morning to evening causing bright light and hard shadows to golden glows and warm evening hues. It was so amazing and the finest of photographs will never capture its true beauty. Please enjoy and feel free to leave comments on your favorites.
